Purchasing Admin | First Shift | Walton, KY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Admin join our team. This role involves general administrative duties with a focus on purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory management. Responsibilities:

  • Process purchasing requests by selecting vendors from an approved list, creating purchase orders, and placing orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors, insurance companies, repair companies, and trucking services to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate with customers, including major clients like Toyota and Nissan, to arrange orders and deliveries.
  • Receive and organize purchased items, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
  • Assist in improving purchasing processes, particularly within the engineering department.
  • Help to improve our HR department's processes - previous experience in HR is a plus!

Qualifications:

  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or administrative roles is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative over time.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with CAD drawings and measuring dimensions for purchasing (a plus but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other administrative tools.\

Schedule:

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Pay:

$20-22/hr based on experience
